Your Terms and Conditions of Use

When you, the Customer, make a purchase or place an booking with Dartmoortaxi.co.uk, we enter into a contract. These Terms and Conditions constitute this agreed contract between us. We may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice, except that the ones posted on our site at the time you place the order will apply to the order in question. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Under UK law, dartmoortaxi.co.uk are licensed under the authoriy of Teignbridge District Council to to provide Private Hire Chauffeured Taxi service to anyone under the age of 18 or over the age of 18 providing the booking is placed by an adult.

Dartmoortaxi.co.uk has a duty to inform the police and the licensing authority if passengers in its transit are considered vunerable and under risk from other adults. We are required to have Safeguarding Training and to recognise if there is a threat to the welfare of our passengers and to report it to the appropriate authority.

We aim to get our vehicles dispatched to you in plenty of time for the alloted booked journey. It is important to leave enough time for the journey booked and that dartmoortaxi.co.uk cannot be resposible for the missing of connections, flights or appointmentsfdue to road and traffic conditions regardless of the reason. It may be appropriate to take payment in full for your booking at the time and while we accept that delays can occur which are beyond our agreement or booking dartmoortaxi.co.uk will endeavour to be flexible. You cannot cancel your booking once the driver has been dispatched and you will be charged for the full fare. Your normal statutory rights are not affected.

All refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation. Any credit issued to you for any reason must be used within one year from the date that the credit was issued and may only be used for future bookings. Any credit or portion of credit not used within the one (1) year period will expire.

Dartmoortaxi.co.uk is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. All the personal information and contact details will only be used in communication between you as a customer and dartmoortaxi.co.uk. Financial information and Credit /Debit card details are processed through a secure server operated by our commercial bankers to which we have no access and are not stored on any equipment operated in your purchase transaction. Under data protection we are denighed any access to this information by our bank.

These terms and conditions will be governed by the law of England and Wales.
